She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert and Dorthea Larson (Thorberg); her husband W. Max Howard; and her siblings, Myrna Ahrens, Vera Runnels, Caryll Karges, Glenys Quinlan and Dean Larson.
She is survived by: her children, Jerre Porter (Kayleen Logan) of Rock Springs, WY, Jeanette Marfield (Jim) of Platte City, MO and Jennifer Byarlay (Doug) of Randolph, KS; her stepdaughters, Christina Hagerman (Charles) of Larned, KS and Catherine Hickman of Manhattan, KS.; her sisters, Margaret Jacobson of Centennial, CO, Dorothy Tisthammer of Albion, NE and Laura Muenchrath of Coos Bay, OR.; and her siblings-in-law, Beverly Larson of Albion, NE, Donna Howard of Sabetha, KS, Janice Olson of Shelton, WA and Tom Quinlan of Denver, CO. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions are to be made to the Alice Howard Memorial which will be divided between organizations supporting Tourette Syndrome, Crohn's Disease, and Juvenile Diabetes.
