It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Esther Woodard of Maize, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Ott and Mildred Ott; her husband Gail Woodard; and her grandchildren, Chris Woodard and Shelley Poynter.
She is survived by: her siblings, Francis, Ruth, Roy and John Paul; her children, Gene Woodard (Kay), Chuck Woodard (Connie) and Susan Wilhite (Gregg); her grandchildren, Gerald Woodward (Leslye), Leslie Morgan (Drew), Ryan Wilhite (Liza), Grant Wilhite (Aron Steven), Michael Gerken (Sharon) and Troy Gerken (Brook); and her great grandchildren, Gage (Stacy), Grady Woodard, Gavin Woodard, Shea Poynter, McKenna Poynter, Mason Morgan, Molly Morgan, Major Morgan, Quinn Wilhite, Macy Gerken, Megan Gerken, Christian Gerken (Jeni) and Cassie Forest Williard.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established with the Maize United Methodist Church, 208 E. Academy, P. O. Box 265, Maize, KS 67101.
