She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Dean M. Brown; her parents, Carl Bowman and Opal Bowman; and her sister Ruby Marie Bowman. She is survived by: her children, Dennis M. Brown and Denise M Brown Schafers (John); her grandsons, Randal Schafers (Beth), Alan Schafers (Katie) and Andrew Schafers; her great grandchildren, Mason, Madison, Abigail, Alexander and Baylor; her brother Gary Bowman (Carla); and her nieces, Tanya and Traci. She is also survived by her mother, sister and brother.

She donated blood to the American Red Cross.
