He is survived by: his wife Carlita Hoover of Burlington; his children, Hal Luthi (Sheila) of Madison, Jane Sommers (Brad) of Hiawatha, Mari Schaefer (Brett) of Coppell and Diane Fleming (Bob) of Overland Park, Kansas; his stepchildren, Ron Hoover (Sandie) of Burlington, Lisa Hoover of Kansas City and Tammy Krebs (Brad) of Quincy, Illinois; his grandchildren, Dallas Luthi (Sarah), Darcy Henke (Klint), Matthew Sommers (Megan), Jenna Dean (Robbie), Laura Synder (Travis), Morgan Schaefer, Kara and Chelsea Fleming; and his great grandchildren, Cohen, Caylin, Colter, Cooper Luthi, Laikyn, Lane Henke, Declan, Newell, Palmer Snyder and Grant Sommers.
