He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert E. Greenwood and Lydia M. Mackey Greenwood; his former wife Anna Mae; his stepchildren, Sandy Thompson and Lynwood Croft; and his siblings, Thelma Brown, Melba Wyatt, Mary Greenwood and Robert Greenwood.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Thompson of Madison; his children, Nancy Kile (Gary) of Madison, Laura Greenwood of Kansas City, Missouri and William Greenwood (Jackie) of Springfield, Missouri; and his stepchildren, Gwen Hill (Jay) of Florida, Jane Welch of Emporia, Calvin Thompson of Gridley and Bill Thompson of Emporia.
