He is survived by: his brothers, John and Dwight; his wife Betty Jo (Suiter); his sons, David Gilkison (Bettee) of Manhattan and Kevin Gilkison of Lenexa, Kansas.; his grandsons, Chad (Melissa) of Centennial Colorado and Todd (Amy) of Great Bend, Kansas.; his great grandchildren, Eric Gilkison of Stillwell Kansas, Jack, Knox Gilkison of Centennial, Sidney and Gavin Gilkison of Great Bend; and also, Ruth and Leo Gilkison of Stillwell, Kansas..
