He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. Scheck and Magdalena Scheck (Windholz); and his siblings, Peter, Seraphine, Victor, Melvin, Gilbert, Bertha Denning, Mary Weigel, Rubina Dinkel, Katie Scheck and Leona Scheck.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia S. (Martin); his children, John L. Scheck, Jeffery J. Scheck (Angela), Jay A. Scheck and Julie K. Scheck (Bernadette Romero); his siblings, Edwin Scheck of Russell, KS and Lena Meder of Victoria, KS; and his grandsons, Andrew Scheck (Kate) and Cody Rosenhamer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Stafford County Hospital in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, KS 67576.
