With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leslie Deighton Jr. of Macksville, Kansas, who passed away on November 8, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie A. and Clara Deighton, Sr. (Elmore); his siblings, Robert, Jim, Ned Deighton, Juanita Skelton, Della Skelton, Elaine Bantz and LaDayne Burger; and his grandson Ryan Deighton.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lyda; his children, David Deighton (Tracy), Dale Deighton (Sara) of Hill City, KS., Debbie Bright (Tracy) of Macksville, KS. and Dayna Smith (Mark) of Great Bend, KS.; and his sister Jean Gross of Larned, KS.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
