William Starr Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Starr (Lyons, Kansas), who passed away on June 12, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Starr and Hazel Starr; his son Thad Starr; his siblings, Lewis, Richard Starr and Lois Mae; and his friend Jim Elliott.
He is survived by: his former wife Carol Pollock; his children, Jill Vierthaler (Greg) of Spearville and Neal Starr (Brenda) of Oberlin; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Starr of Great Bend; and his grandchildren, Alicia Stoltenberg, Rachele Vierthaler, Zachariah Starr, Mark Starr and Paul Starr. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church, Lyons in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
