Velma Lucille Gish Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Lucille Gish of Lyons, Kansas, born in Pawnee Rock, Kansas, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Manson and Grace Amanda Birks Atteberry; her husband Chester R. "Bud" Gish; and her siblings, Earl, Gerald, Clifford, Darrell, Glenn Atteberry, Marjorie Buck and Eva Hiett.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Alan Gish (Mary Kay) of Lyons, KS and James G. Gish (Mary Wolc); her brothers, Duane Atteberry (Joan) of Scottsdale, AZ and Arlis Atteberry (Shirley) of Larned, KS; and her sister-in-law Daisy Atteberry of Larned, KS. She is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church or Eastern Star Queen Esther Chapter #32 in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
