He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick P. and Anna L. Bahre (Hoyer); and his siblings, Alfred Bahre, Wilber Bahre and Clara Pauls.
He is survived by: his spouse Helen I. Graber Bahre; his children, John (Judy Bahre) of Topeka and Susan (Larry Wareham) of Waller; and his sisters, Dorothea Goering of Hutchinson and Juanita Otte of Moundridge. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
