He is survived by: his wife Beverly Sloan of Lyons; his children, Nathan Young of Slidell, LA, Richard Young of Hutchinson, KS, Geoffrey Young (Danielle) of Slidell, LA, Robert Young of Lyons, Opie Thurman of Lyons, Jennifer Young of Boise, ID, Nicole Vopat (Jeremy) of Wilson, KS and Savannah Bedoka (Jake) of New Castle, OK; his siblings, Gary Young (Joyce Vicksburg), Gene Young of Golden, CO and Linda Perry (Perry) of Lyons; his sisters-in-law, Vickie Young and Ellen Young of Isabell, KS; and his grandchildren, Lillian Young, Mia Young, Chasity Young, Rainee Dai Shelton, Dallas Vopat, Derek Vopat, Avery Bedoka, Jensyn Bedoka, Matthew Thurman, Sofia Thurman, Caitlin Thurman and Evan Thurman.
