He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Tommer and Laura Marie Tommer (Williams); his wife Jeanette Marie Langlois; and his children, Joseph Robert Tommer and Cindy Rusch.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Tommer (Julie) of Sterling, KS, Terry Tommer (Selena Dawn) of Kansas City, KS, Wayne Tommer of Alden, KS and Celena Bray (Cy) of Stilwell, OK; his sisters, Connie Hagler of Rolla, KS, Christine Smith (Greg) of St. Marys, KS and Mary Beth Lubbers (Eddie) of Yoder, KS; and his grandchildren, Alexis, Brandon, Trenton, Aydan, Zach, Layne, Audrey, Calvin, Hannah, Shelbie, Chelsie, Tandra, Kevin, Ed, Stasha, Mariah, Jenny, Brandi, Sarah and Maranda. He is also survived by twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Friends of Animals in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
