It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mildred Minta Helmer (Lyons, Kansas), who passed away on September 11, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Goodfellow and Gladys Plank Goodfellow; and her sisters, Marjorie Smith and Arlene Hendricks. She is survived by: her children, Ron Helmer (Becky) of Bloomington, IN, Jim Helmer (Deb) of Winfield, KS and Lynette St. Vrain (Brad) of Goddard, KS; and her brother Don Goodfellow (Eula Mae) of Lyons. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Ebenezer United Methodist Church in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
