He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Halter and Doris "Doty" Jeep Halter; and his daughters, Jerri L. Jerome of Lyons and Janet M. Morgan of Gig Harbor, WA. He was also cherished by three grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for cancer care or Friends of Animals Rice County in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
