It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Kay Johnson of Lyons, Kansas, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn C. Boyer and Josephine Boyer (Modlin). She is survived by: her daughter Jeanine McClain of Lyons.
A reception will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (101 S Pioneer Ave, Lyons, KS 67554).
Memorials may be given to Friends of Animals Rice County in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
