He was predeceased by: his parents, William Frye and Patricia Mowery Frye; his brother Earl Frye; and his granddaughter Kennedy Frye. He is survived by: his wife Vera Jane Huffman; his children, Lisa Stout (Landon) of McPherson, KS, Adam Frye of Nickerson, KS, Brent Frye (Yilin) of San Ramon, CA, Kyle Frye (Monica) of Hutchinson, KS and Stacy Frye (Josh) of Rose Hill, KS; his brother Chris Frye of Nickerson, KS; his aunt Ora Henry of Hutchinson, KS; his cousin Christina Caudle; and his grandchildren, Remington, Rhett Stout, Catherine, Edward Frye, Emery, Lincoln, Bishop and Declan Frye. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be given to Knights of Columbus Council #7422 (for a scholarship to a trade school) in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
