It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen McClure-Hawkins of Lyons, Kansas, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Laudick and Ethel Hedges Laudick; her former husband Robert S. McClure; her husband Herbert Hawkins; her stepson Herb Hawkins Jr.; her siblings, Bob, Jack, Mike Laudick, Peggy Hass and Pat Baker; and her grandson Steve Borgen.
She is survived by: her children, Bob McClure (Donna) of Kansas City, KS, Tim McClure (Dianne) of Colorado Springs, CO, Kevin McClure (Julie) of Lyons, Katie Drake (Mike) of Lyons, Shawn McClure of Wichita, KS and Terrance McClure (Angie) of Hutchinson; her stepdaughters, Judy Borgen of Lyons and Sharon Madden; and her sister Joanne Arie of Buhler, KS. She is also survived by twenty five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Bell and Star Fund, Lyons or the Rice Community Healthcare Foundation for the Swing Bed Unit in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
