He was predeceased by: his wife Eula Mae; his parents, David Goodfellow and Gladys Goodfellow; his sisters, Mildred Helmer (Ralph), Marjorie Smith (Oltie) and Arlene Hendricks (Bud); his nephew Greg; his son-in-law Kirk Higgins; and his great grandchild Archer Higgins.
He is survived by: his children, Kristen Higgins of Beatrice, NE, Teresa and Joel Miller; and his grandchildren, Jenny (Derek Grandfield), Kate Higgins, Laura (Tad Lazechko), Mike (Tara Higgins), Jim (Callie Higgins), Kim (Dylan Behrends), Dustin Miller and Grant (Courtney Miller). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Ebenezer United Methodist Church or Heifer International in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
