He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Wedel and Naomi May Colvard Wedel; his spouse Claudelle Faye Cyr; his son Jacob Tyler Wedel; his nephew Lucas Nelson; and his niece Kayla Cyr.
He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Wedel of Lyons and Andrew "Andy" Wedel of Lyons; and his siblings, Charlie Wedel (Anita) of Lyons, Larry Wedel (Raelene) of Hutchinson, Inez Guy of Hutchinson, Wanda Woody of Hutchinson and Linda Wedel-Lusk of Wichita.
Memorials may be given to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
