It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Marie Burns of Lyons, Kansas, born in Raymond, Kansas, who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Martin and Jannie Lickteig Cruth; her children, Steven Craig Burns and Nancy Jo Burns; and her sisters, Mildred Guthrie, Margaret Stuart, Vera Steierl, Velma Hoelscher and Alberta Zongker.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Burns; her children, Bob D. Burns of Raymond, KS and Julie A. Fernen (Mike) of Papillion, NE; and her grandchildren, Natasha Rushing (Kevin), Michaela Koehler (Gavin), Brianna Dunbar (Tanner) and Jennica Fernen. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Faith Bible Church (for missions and outreach) in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
