With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nels Larue Peterson (Lyndon, Kansas), born in Osage City, Kansas, who passed away on July 29, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Arthur and Wilhelmina Peterson (Shively); his wife Iris Marie Jones; and his sister Charlotte Michael. He is survived by: his close friend Robin Dorr; his children, Crystal Peterson of Osage City and Steven Peterson of Osage City; and his siblings, Jim Peterson of Osage City, Linda Bowin of Osage City and Archlean Frye of Osage City. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, four step grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
