He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Guy Thomas and Rachel Thomas (Wendorff); his wife Janice Horne; his stepfather Harold "Pete" May; his stepsiblings, Lorraine Heth and Ken May; and his sons, Monty Thomas and Michael Thomas. He was also cherished by three granddaughters; a great-granddaughter and a great-grandson.
