She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Blackwell and Beverly Blackwell (Martin); her daughter Tracy Newton; and her sister Donna Croston. She is survived by: her husband Bradley Short; her children, Eddie Hays (Jenny), Chris Steele, Paul Short and Jessica Cowdin (Scott); and her brothers, Tom Blackwell (Connie) and Kenny Blackwell. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
