He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Runkle and Wilma Runkle. He is survived by: his wife Candace Kinart; his children, Eric Runkle (Cindy) of Stilwell, KS and Tara Drennan (Marck) of Emporia; and his siblings, Alan Sleder (Susan) of Wichita, Jane Kunz (Bruce) of Kansas City, Missouri and Jodi Swander (John) of DeSoto, KS. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
