He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Feldman; his sons, John Burkhart (Diane) of Hutchinson and Wayne Burkhart (Amy) of Topeka, Kansas.; his siblings, Don of Goddard, Allen (Betty) of Wright, Mark of Spearville, Norman (Linda) of Arlington, Tom (Krista) of Cimarron, Kansas., Elaine Gerber (Jerry) of Garden Plain, Connie Burgardt (Jerry) of Pratt and Linda Strecker (Melvin) of Spearville; his brother-in-law Gerry Grasser; his grandchildren, Andrew (Shannon), Jonathan (Cami), Tanner (Katie), Adam (Ashley), Ryan (Raven), Katlyn and Nathan; and his great grandchildren, Rylie, Jordyn, Addison, Owen, Cayden, Maddox, Lydia, Braylen, Madison and Hayden.
