He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Nicholson and Thelma Nicholson (Hoskinson); his stepfather Howard Foster; his siblings, Dallas, Harvey Nicholson and Eletheir Presnal; his stepsiblings, James, Todd Foster, Opal Shepherd and Gail Sawyer; and his grandsons, Paul Nicholson, Jr. and Santos Pena.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Franks; his children, Paul Nicholson (Vickie) of Pomona, Victoria Leach (Randy) of Pomona and William Nicholson (Mayouly) of Vassar; his sister Lanora Newell of Nebraska; and his stepsiblings, Squire Foster and Dorothy Avery. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
