He was predeceased by: his parents, Elisha Mounkes and Hattie Mounkes (McKinley); his brother Alphus Mounkes; and his grandson Alec Mounkes. He is survived by: his wife Donnalee Gilman; his children, Steve Mounkes of Lyndon, Annetta Hurt (Danny) of Lyndon and Tammi Thornburgh (Dave) of Osage City; his grandchildren, Mara Mounkes, Tonia Lange, Tanae Olson, Tanille Boswell, Chelsi Gardner, Blake Thornburgh and Brock Thornburgh; and his great grandchildren, Tigean, Keldon, Bryleigh, Addyson, Korbyn, Levi, Camden, Natalee, Tenley and Jarett. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
