He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Harkness and Gladys Harkness (Keeler). He is survived by: his wife Connie Lee Hendershot; his sons, Michael Harkness of Camden Point, Jonathan Harkness of Overland Park and Daniel Harkness of Kearney, Missouri; and his siblings, Judith Thorp, Sandra Mattocks, David Harkness, Donald Harkness and Dean Harkness. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; one soon to arrive great-grandchild; other relatives and friends.
