He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Milton and Jean Elizabeth Brown (Duncan-Cramb); his wife Janet Eloise Bishop; his grandson Cameron Clemens; his great grandchild Bradly Dickey; his daughters, Linda Lawhorn (Jack) of Melvern, Judy Wisocki (Jeff) of Dallas, Holly Alvarez (Seledonio) of Hartford and Jolene DeMaranville (Chris) of Melvern; his brothers, Stanley Brown of Topeka and Jonathon Brown of Lawrence; his siblings-in-law, Merrill Bishop of Charlottesville, Virginia and Myrna Bishop of Phoenix, Arizona; and his grandchildren, Erin Dicky, Joseph Lawhorn, Jennifer Thompson, Caleb Clemens, Jacob Streeter, Christopher Clemens, Grace, Charlie and Demi DeMaranville.
Charles has spent the last six years in the five-star Sunset Manor nursing home, which has remained Covid-19 free throughout the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations for PPE be sent to support the local front line workers, made payable to Sunset Manor Memorial, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS. 66451.
