It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Floyd Dennis Cornwell of Luray, Kansas, born in Osborne, Kansas, who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith B. Cornwell and Eleanor R. Cornwell (Walls). He is survived by: his sister Linda Dolton (Joe) of Luray, Kansas; his nieces, Amy Leiker (Marc) and Sara Eckinger (Brett); and his nephew Benjamin Dolton (Rebecca).

Memorials may be given to the Luray Fire Department and sent in care of the mortuary.

He was a neighbor boy on the farm that never lost his country roots. He loved his sister and her family greatly, and everyone knew why. Linda was the bright spot in his heart - and he was protective of his nieces, and his cats. Hard worker, devoted fire fighter, and all around sweetest fellow in Luray, Kansas.”
