Merle Herring Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Herring of Lucas, Kansas, born in Osage, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hezekiah "Hez" J. Herring and Thelma "Erma" Herring (Hutchison); his brothers, Jack and Wayne Herring; his daughter Lethea Nelson; and his grandson Rusty Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Herring of Moundridge; his children, Robert Herring (Julie) of Fort Worth, TX, Lyle Herring (Donna) of Bennington, KS and Linda Herring of McPherson, KS; and his sisters, Wanda Cearly of Ball, LA and Sharon Hicks of Jay, OK.. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
