With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Ray Bates of Louisburg, Kansas, who passed away on September 2, 2020 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Bates and Katherine Bates; his brother Richard "Wayne" Bates; and his son Christopher Michael Bates. He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his children, Daniela Staples (Oliver), Berlin Germany, Gregory Bates (Sharon), Jamie Maldonado (Abraham), Jason Bates (Denia) and Katie Mandracchia (Andrew); and his brother Steven Bates (Barbara). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society.
