She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Thornton and Georgia Thornton (Hills); her husband Larry Wilkerson of Independence; and her sister Julie Jackson. She is survived by: her children, David Wilkerson (Dena) of Eudora, Dennis Wilkerson of Louisburg, Jean Young of Toccoa and Joy King (Vincent) of Pleasant View; her brother Dennis (Ellen); and her brother-in-law Paul Jackson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended, family members.
