He was predeceased by: his parents, William Turner and Margaret Swaim Turner (Dolly); his brother Richard Turner; his children, Jackie Ray Turner, Jr., John William Turner and Diane Lee Sprague; his granddaughter Morgan; and his great grandchild Aedan.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle; his children, Karen Turner, Kay Montella, Beth Edmonds, Jody Turner and Douglas Turley; and his grandchildren, Kristin of Nikki, JR, Caleb, Josh, Chasity, Chelsea, Jessica, Joseph, Cheyenne, Dustin, Tamara, Rachael, Stephanie, Jennifer, Jacob, Anne and Sarah.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
