She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Emerson and Callie Marie Morris (Letcher); her husband Walter W. Knop; and her siblings, Harold Morris, Mabel Hiatt and Doris Cannon.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene Wise (Sid), A. Wayne Knop (Sue) of Louisburg, Stephen W. Knop (Rita) of Louisburg and Warren L. Knop (Cynthia) of Louisburg; her grandchildren, Brent Knop, Curtis Knop, Scott Knop, Bryan Knop and Erin Williamson (Wise); and her stepgrandchildren, Tony Johnson, Ty Johnson, Jared Spradling and Jacylyn McCubbin (Spradling). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
