It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann James (Lorraine, Kansas), born in McPherson, Kansas, who passed away on December 10, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Goering and Rachel Goering; her husband Maurice James; and her siblings, Richard Goering (Dick), Doris Griffin and Kermit Goering.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela James (Steve Ralph), Melanie Mitchell (Lawrence), Joni McGlynn (Steve) and Donald James (Cheryl); and her grandchildren, Katie Mitchell-Koch (Jeremy), Graham McGlynn (Renee), Corey McGlynn (Kristen), Cassie McGlynn and Sam Ralph. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In honor of MaryAnn, her children encourage others to "Save a life - Wear a mask.".
A memorial has been established in her name with Lorraine Avenue Mennonite Church, 655 S. Lorraine, Wichita, 67211 and Humankind Ministries, 829 N. Market, Wichita, 67214.
