It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray L. Wolfe of Longton, Kansas, born in Sedan, Kansas, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Augastius Wolfe and Rosa Belle Wolfe (Watson); his siblings, Larry Wolfe, Dale Wolfe, Bonnie Munday and Bernyce Campbell; his sons, Roy Wolfe and Jimmy Wolfe; his grandson Robert Simpson; and his great grandchild Remmington Jennings.

He is survived by: his wife Melodee Wolfe (Stewart); and his children, Patty Hammer (Aaron Hammer) of Parsons, Kansas, Mike Wolfe (Cherisse Wolfe) of Independence, Kansas, Leslie Wolfe (Rachel Wolfe) of Alva, Oklahoma, Marilyn Simpson (Donald Simpson) of Peru, Kansas, Janet Hartley (Dallas Hartley) of Chautauqua, Kansas, Jeremy Samples (Darla Samples) of Coffeyville, Kansas and Amy Samples of Wichita, Kansas.
