It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray L. Wolfe of Longton, Kansas, born in Sedan, Kansas, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Augastius Wolfe and Rosa Belle Wolfe (Watson); his siblings, Larry Wolfe, Dale Wolfe, Bonnie Munday and Bernyce Campbell; his sons, Roy Wolfe and Jimmy Wolfe; his grandson Robert Simpson; and his great grandchild Remmington Jennings.

He is survived by: his wife Melodee Wolfe (Stewart); and his children, Patty Hammer (Aaron Hammer) of Parsons, Kansas, Mike Wolfe (Cherisse Wolfe) of Independence, Kansas, Leslie Wolfe (Rachel Wolfe) of Alva, Oklahoma, Marilyn Simpson (Donald Simpson) of Peru, Kansas, Janet Hartley (Dallas Hartley) of Chautauqua, Kansas, Jeremy Samples (Darla Samples) of Coffeyville, Kansas and Amy Samples of Wichita, Kansas.

“We are sorry for Ray's passing. He will be missed. He and Charlie had had been good friends for many years and Charlie worked for him a long time. He was the one that got Charlie into the fence building business. They traded a lot of gardening stories as they both love gardening. Charlie and Janis Hawk”
