He was predeceased by: his wife Linda B. Gaines of Peter's Lutheran Church; his father Charles Gaines; his stepfather Omar Ellis; his mother LaVera Ellis; and his brothers, Aaron and Earl Gaines.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brittany Elaine (Andrew Grandon) and Marcy Lynn (Jordan Bleske); his grandchild Kelton; his daughter Bessie Maria; his friend Teresa Griffin; his stepmother Virginia Gaines; and his sister Ellen Kemper (Gary). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Norton Cross Country Team or the Norton Archery Club for Safety Education.
