He was predeceased by: the mother of his children Dixie; his parents, Lewis Hooper and Anna Hooper; his siblings, Bill Hooper and Betty Jacobson (Hooper); and his stepson Gary Morris.
He is survived by: his brothers, Robert Hooper (Diane) of Bogue, KS, Allen Hooper (Jeannie) of Oberlin, KS, JD Hooper of Goodland, KS and Floyd Hooper (Jane) of Manhattan, KS; and his children, Lewis "Skip" Hooper (Barbara) of Pickering, Ontario, Michael Hooper (Deb Meador) of Logan and Pamela Hessman (Rick) of Bloomfield, NM. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
