She was predeceased by: her parents, Vergil Johnson and Grace Johnson (Edwards); her husband Billy Rowland; her sons, David Rowland and John Rowland; and her sister Bernice Swanson.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Rowland (Nancy) of Ottumwa, IA, MaryEdna Courson of Little River, KS, Harry Rowland (Linda) of Knoxville, IL and Stephen Rowland of Galesburg, IL; and her grandchildren, Charles Courson, David Rowland, Amy Tittel, Jason Rowland, Michael Rowland, Jeremy Rowland, Melissa Cleary, Michelle Rodriguez and Stephanie Royse. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Knox County Humane Society in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
