He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar P. Johnson and Edith M. Johnson (Briscoe); and his wife Phyllis M. Harris. He is survived by: his children, Kendal Johnson (April Sheffield) of Windsor, MO, Curtis Johnson (Tracie) of Little River and Colleen Martin (Myron) of Inman; his grandchildren, Joshua Johnson (Joanna) of Garner, NC, Nicholas Johnson of Windsor, MO, Megan Kruse (Dan) of Columbia, MO, Lindsay Lewis of Van Meter, IA, Bridget Sheffield of Bozeman, MT, Dessirae White (Nick) of Little River, Paige Blew (Ryan) of Inman and Sam Martin (Alex) of Wichita; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Lillian Johnson, Chloe Johnson, Avery, Owen Kruse, Emma Lewis, Jaxin, Stella, Addison Wills, Brooke, Rylie, Danni White and Ryder Blew; his sister Saundra Spohn (Lawrence) of Marquette; and his brother-in-law Gib Harris (Gerda) of Lawrence. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Uvon Johnson Memorial Fund, to be given to the Santa Fe Trail Association for a future project, or Hospice and HomeCare of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
