He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Esmond and Lydia Ellen Smith Ricketts; and his sister Norma Owings. He is survived by: his wife Karen Burke; his children, James Ricketts (Judy), Mitchell Ricketts of McPherson, KS, Jane Richards of Park City, KS and Shelby Stabile (Jonathan); his sisters, Wynona Soler and Gaye Dyck; his grandchildren, Abbi Downing (Darrin) of Wichita, KS, Courtney Ewertt (Shane) of Little River, KS, Lauren Young (Gage) of Cheney, KS, Elizabeth Stabile and Gabriella Stabile; and his great grandchildren, Jhet, Eisley, Daxton, Eastyn, Everett, Whitten and Will.
Memorials may be given to Dwight Lamson Post #258 American Legion, Little River in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
