He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burl and Lois Stagner (Beck); his son Jim Stagner; his brother Bud Stagner; and his grandchildren, A. J. Stagner and Jill LeClair.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Stagner (Ginny) of Caney, KS, Kathy Hatch (Wayne) of Andover, KS and Jerry Stagner (Cheryl) of Little River, KS; his daughter-in-law Donna Stagner of Little River, KS; and his sister Betty Isabelle of Pasco, WA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Friends of Animals Rice County in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
