He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Cobb and Evelyn Cobb (Gucker); and his son Patrick James Cobb. He is survived by: his wife Sandy of Little River, KS; his son Benjamin Cobb (Michelle) of Hutchinson, KS; his stepchildren, Ursila Bowdon of Redding, CA and Andrew Hanscom of Houston, TX; his brother John Cobb (Candice) of Lawrence, KS; his nieces, Deanna Brown and Kelly Cobb; and his pet Dozzer.

Memorials may be given to Friends of Animals Rice County in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
