He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard H. "Ben" Konen and Julia J. Konen (Ulrich); his siblings, Robert Konen and Mary Frances Thummel; and his great grandchild Hazel Ramage.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Konen (Debbie) of Little River, Mark Konen (Mary) of Little River, Steven Konen (Kathy) of Clearwater, KS, Gregory Konen (Carrie) of Edmond, OK, Julita Konen of Little River, Mary Ramage (Rex) of Collinsville, OK and Brenda Wright (Brian) of Little River. He is also survived by thirty-one grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Catholic Youth Ministry at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
