He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Meek and Rose Lee Meek (Bullington); his wife Gladys Lela Smith; his siblings, Carl Meek, Lawrence Meek and Inez Johnson; and his nephew Mike Ellwood.
He is survived by: his children, Dallas Meek (Caroline) of Frankfort, KY, Gary Meek (Doris) of Independence, MO and Lori Viramontez (Dave) of Lyons, KS; his sister Della Ellwood (Galland) of Little River, KS; his grandchildren, Derek Viramontez, Tyler Viramontez (Emily), Andrew Meek (Taryn), Priscilla Meek, Ethan Meek, Stephen Meek, Caleb Meek (Willow) and Esther Meek; and his great grandchildren, Reagan Viramontez, Adelyn Viramontez, Noel Meek, Alarice Meek, Micah Meek and Riah Meek. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
