He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Godfrey Sr. and Stella Irene Fortner Johnson; his wife Helen Louise Garber; and his sisters, Phyllis Johnson, Kathleen Ewy and Ruth Ann John.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deanna Leach (Dale) of Marion, KS and Cari Tipton (Monte); his grandchildren, Danica Sommer (Eric), Dirk Leach, Chase Tipton (Katie), Alisa Tipton (Debi) and Caden Tipton; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Ashlyn, Alexis and Drake.
Memorials may be given to Friends of Animals Rice County in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
