It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. Wise of Linwood, Kansas, born in Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Wise and Nell Wise (McClean); his sister Martha Wise Longanecker; his son David Wise; and his grandson Tyler Wise.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Christensen; his children, Bruce (Anita) of Lawrence, KS, Scott Linwood (Kamie) and Karen Aeschliman (Steve); his grandchildren, Andrea Aeschliman (Brad) of St Joseph, MO, Holly Kilian (John) of Hampstead, NC, Arika Ryan (Phil) of Manhattan, KS and Shelby Bindeman (Wylie) of Raleigh, NC.; his stepgrandchildren, Nick Young (Mackenzie), San Antonio, Michelle Peterson (Drew) of Lenexa, KS and Marshall Miller (Whitney); his great grandchildren, John Ryan, Landyn Kilian of Hampstead, NC, Kelby, Kason Ryan of Manhattan, KS, Caroline, Banks Bindeman of Raleigh, NC, Colton Wise and Luna Wise Hinton (Melissa Wise) of Lawrence, KS.; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kastyn, Braxtyn, Bristyn Young, San Antonio, Carter and Hudson Peterson of Lenexa, KS..
