He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Smith and Anna Pauline Smith (Laymon); his stepfathers, Kenneth Stovall and Joel Robinson; his children, Rex E. Smith and Anna C. Smith; and his sisters, Carol Henderson and Winifred Hutchison.
He is survived by: his wife Lola Johnson Smith; his daughter Leanne (Smith) Mathews (Dwayne); his grandchildren, Sara Turner, Danny Call (Shelby), Albert King (Sarah) and Haylee Mathews (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Mayah, Mckinzy, Reid, Annistyn, Tyson, Little Haylee, Quincy, Rockford, Alona, Woodrow, Weslee, Stonewall, Huckleberry, Charlee, Lavender, Aspen and Honey.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Linwood Community Center (302 Main St, Linwood, KS 66052).
